Dr. Eve Geis graduated from the University of Alabama and received her Doctor of Optometry from The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Optometry in 1987. She went on to complete a residency in hospital - based Optometry at the Bay Pines VA Medical Center in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Following her residency, Dr. Geis worked in a private optometric practice in Tampa, Florida which she later purchased and owned for fourteen years. In 2007 she relocated to Jacksonville, Florida joining the A1A Family Eyecare/Rowe Family Eyecare group in 2008 continuing to work there through 2021. She then spent 1 ½ years working with Family First Vision Care rotating through their four Jacksonville area offices.
Now, in December 2023, Dr. Geis is very excited to become a part of Ponte Vedra Eye Associates. She is a primary eyecare practitioner who enjoys diagnosing and treating visual disorders and ocular diseases, prescribing spectacles and contact lenses, and co-managing a variety of ophthalmic surgical procedures such as Lasik and cataract extraction.
